I was born here in Silver City a long, long, time ago............I  have been painting all of my life and started making pots about 35 years ago when i attended Western New Mexico University.   I have taught school  but painting and pottery were always my first love.  In 1967,  I and a group of friends started the  Silver City Museum  (a very fine Historical Museum i might add... click name to enter website) and did that for 11 years when i retired and opened my shop in l982.  The name "What's A Pot Shop" came to me in a dream and i decided that it would be perfectly appropriate to name it that as pots are my primary love although painting is probably a larger part of my life.  This webpage deals with just about all aspects of my interests now that i am older and more mature (that's questionable).  So enjoy looking at all the different catagories i have posted and please take the time to go to my links page where you will find even more interesting artists and friends who live here in Silver City.
